Pets are allowed in most outdoor areas provided they are kept under physical restraint or
on a leash not longer than six feet. Owners will be asked to remove noisy or dangerous pets or pets that threaten or harass wildlife.

Andrew Jackson State Park is 360 acres of land that combines history, art
and community activities into a setting that has made it one of the states most
popular parks!
Park Attractions & Things to Do:
• Living History Programs
• Museum with Revolutionary War artifacts and interactive exhibits about Jackson’s life.
• Striking statue of the “Boy of the Waxhaws”
• An 18th Century schoolhouse replica
• 25 Campsites
• 18 acre lake for boating and fishing (boat rentals available; also a handicap accessible fishing pier)
• 2 one mile loop trails for walking and hiking (biking is allowed on paved roads.)
• 2 picnic shelters (Available for family or group gatherings for $35-44/day. They accomodate up to 60 people. If not in use or reserved, guests may use on first­come, first­served basis at no charge.)
• Meeting house for group gatherings
• Amphitheater for community events
